Support of Early Education Funding – August 2018

Background: In conjunction with the start of school and this week’s U.S. Senate consideration of a major funding bill, we ask Congress to finalize robust funding for Easterseals-operated early intervention and learning programs, including Preschool Grants for Children with Disabilities, the Early Intervention Program for Infants and Toddlers with Disabilities, and the Head Start and Early Head Start Programs. The U.S. Senate is currently debating the Departments of Labor, Education, and Health and Human Services fiscal year 2019 funding bill that funds these early education programs.
 
Easterseals affiliates, especially those who operate these early education programs, are encouraged to engage their supporters and volunteers in support of the following action alert.
